This production is based partly on the historical documentary book, Promises from the Palmetto Bush, the Genesis of Carver Ranches, FL.  It takes place in 2006, when 80-year old Theodore 'Lucky' Strachan goes home from hospice to spend his final days with family, friends and familiar surroundings. An unexpected incident occurred after his funeral that brought the family and neighbors together for a common cause and revealing the importance of knowing ones history.
